As some of you already know my niece’s boyfriend arrived in saturday and he had a birthday in sunday, so the situation asked for a party. Or a few parties with one theme – Paris. We picked the french theme for 2 reasons, the first one is that me and Deo (my husband) had a Paris themed wedding a couple of years back and we had a new kind of celebration this sunday (it was a church ritual). And the second one is that Alina (my niece) spend the last 4 months in France and now is heading back there, this time with André (her boyfriend). They will drive through France visiting Nice, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Toulon, Marseille and will end up in Paris. C’est magnifique, non?

Now, let’s have some photos and a recipe, the chocolate & nuts home made bonbons… Needless to say, everything was raw, vegan and organic, except for the champagne ;)
During the preparation process…
Exotic fruits with coconut mousse and raspberries juice. My most favorite dessert for the hot summer days. And this weekend was super hot!
Light wild blackberries juice.
CD’s with french music, special gifts for the guests.
A little bit of champagne…
Raw desserts with chocolate topping, served best with fresh strawberries.
Très chic a Paris! Some more clutter during the preparation.
The cake, or what’s left of it :) The birthday cake was a surprise, so I couldn’t take photos of it before the event. Alina was helping me with everything, so I didn’t wanted her to see it… this little fellow survived the party thought, so I could picture it :)
The bonbons! Ah, si délicieux!
- 1 chocolate bar
- 1 cup mixed raw nuts
- 1/4 cup dried berries
1. Melt the chocolate in a water bath.
2. Place unstick-able kitchen sheets on your table and pour little circles of melted chocolate using a spoon.
3. Arrange the nuts and dried berries on top.
4. Put in the fridge for 30 minutes to harden. Voila!
Time for preparation: 10 minutes. Makes 20-30 bonbons.
